FLOWER | Very unusual, almost perfectly round globe, creamy white with projecting styles. Blooms emerge almost all summer, Jun – Aug. |
FRUIT | Round green globe, weathering to brown, and persists all winter. |
GROWING CONDITIONS | This plant likes it wet. Can grow in swamps. Has been observed growing in water. A great plant for a Rain Garden, though during dry spells, do augment with water. |
NOTES | The flower and fruit make this plant a real conversation piece. Deer Resistant. |
