FOLIAGE | Variegated green and white. Towards the end of summer, sometimes develops leaf spot or crisps. |
BARK | Young stems are bright red, and outstanding in winter. Hard prune to 12-24” HT in late winter to encourage vigorous new growth in the spring. The new growth has the most vibrant color. |
FLOWER | White, flat-topped cymes in May/June. |
FRUIT | Rarely noticeable. |
GROWING CONDITIONS | Full sun to part shade. Adaptable to varied soil conditions, but prefers moist soil. |
NOTES | Best in large masses of 5 or more. Deer Resistant. |
